Subscribing to the Agribusiness LISTSERV 

This AGRIBUSINESS LISTSERV is designed for the majors in Agribusiness at CSUF.  It will be used by the Department to keep students updated on important dates, events, and issues affecting the student academic and extracurricular experiences.

Below is the procedure for adding your name to the LISTSERV.

Subscribing to a LISTSERV via Email:

1.  Compose a new email message to:

          listserv@listserv.csufresno.edu
          NOTE: There is no "e" in listserv.

2.  Leave SUBJECT blank.

3.  In the body of the message type the following:

          subscribe AGRIBUSINESS YourFirstName YourLastName
          end

Example:  subscribe AGRIBUSINESS James Casey
                  end

4. Send the message.

5. Depending on the configuration of the list, you may receive a confirmation message from the LISTSERV. If you do, reply to that message by typing:

          OK
          end

6. Send the message within 48 hours or you will need to re-subscribe.

7. When you get the Welcome Message from the LISTSERV, read and then save it. This message contains information you will find useful should you ever wish to unsubscribe from the listserv.
