Dr. John A Henson |

Dr. John A. Henson is the newest member of the ASAE faculty and will teach courses in the area of Meat Sciences. Dr. Henson graduated from Fresno State with a B.S. in Meat Technology in 1990, the same year he was awarded the Jesse T. Bell Award as the Outstanding Production Student in Animal Science. In 1992 Dr. Henson earned his M.S. from the University of Nebraska, Lincoln, with a Meat Science emphasis. He received his Ph.D. from South Dakota State University in 1995 and has been the Plant Manager for Busseto Foods for the past four years. Dr. Henson serves on the Board of Directors for the National Meat Association and is active with many companies involved with the meat industry. A research project involving swine is currently in progress.
