Dr. Scott A. Williamson |

Dr. Scott Williamson earned his Ph.D. from the University of Illinois and has over 18 years of teaching experience. He is nationally recognized and highly respected as a pork production specialist, field nutritionist, as well as a market animal and carcass evaluation expert. His research interest focus on factors influencing lean growth and environmental factors affecting animal performance. He is the production manager of the 100 sow University swine herd that offers a unique student learning environment in the area of experimental education and applied production research. In 1988, he was honored by the School of Agricultural Sciences and Technology as the Salgo-Noren recipient for excellence in teaching and advising.
